Here’s a preview of an album still in process, Oiseaux du Québec. In the picture, a Harfang des Neiges (Snowy Owl, Bubo scandiacus) perched on the fence of a farm field, stalking rodents…preferably lemmings, their favorite food.

The Snowy Owl is the official bird of Quebec. Coming from the Arctic, often visit southern Quebec during the winter months. It’s always a magical and unforgettable moment find one of these beautiful birds…This time I was lucky to get the camera in time!

Ahí va un adelanto de un proximo álbum, Oiseaux du Québec (aves de Quebec). En la imagen, un Harfang des Neiges (búho nival, Bubo scandiacus) posado en la alambrada de un campo de cultivo, al acecho de roedores, preferiblemente lemmings, su dieta habitual.

El búho nival es el ave emblematica oficial de Quebec. Viniendo desde el Ártico, puede llegar a visitar el sur de Quebec durante los meses de invierno. Siempre es un momento mágico e inolvidable encontrar una de estas hermosas aves….Esta vez hubo suerte y consegui sacar la cámara a tiempo…
